Central - North Island Parent Support Circles
What are Parent Support Circles?
Parent Support Circles are weekly, FREE, anonymous and confidential meetings to support parents of children aged 0 - 12. These groups provide parents with a safe and relaxed atmosphere to share their celebrations and challenges of being a parent. Parents listen and learn from the experiences of others about how to nurture and protect their children. Participate as much as you feel comfortable or feel free just to listen to what others have to share. Help yourself to a cup of coffee or tea and light refreshments and prepare to be inspired and energized.
The groups of 8-10 parents are facilitated by experienced and trained co-facilitators and use a self help model approach. Start next week! There are currently no wait lists for the Nanaimo or Parksville Parent Support Circles. The Nanaimo group meets Wednesday evenings and the Parksville group meets Thursday mornings.
Are you already taking another parenting program in the community? Feel free to come to our groups while you are waiting for your program to start and re-join us after your program finishes.

Bradley Center
Mid-Island Pensioners & Hobbyists Association
The purpose of the Mid-Island Pensioners & Hobbyists Assn., as stated in our constitution, is:
a) to promote the interests and welfare of seniors of District 69.
b) to develop and manage a hall for educational and recreational programs for seniors.
Mid-Island Pensioners & Hobbyists Assn. has been fortunate to have been able to build a hall called "Bradley Center" and we are managing this hall as an ongoing activity and with many seniors involved as volunteers. We are now in a position to direct more efforts to the promotion of the interests and welfare of seniors of district 69, as mentioned above under a).
The following is a schedule of regular activities at the BRADLEY CENTRE.
